What is an ERP System?
An ERP system is an Enterprise Resource Planning cloud solution, serving as your integrated management of business processes and applications, to gain resilience and real-time agility, to position yourself for growth.
Toyota
Toyota the massive car company that it is today underwent an ERP system implementation to become more global and competitive by offering the best service possible to its customers and to streamline the business. Toyota's business model strategy was to expand its reach globally to offer high-quality services such as improved operational management, efficiency, a paperless system, and a reduction of work hours. To achieve this Toyota made the decision to go with Microsoft as their software provider, using Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system. This ERP system enabled Toyota to help manage after-service skills and operations for distributors offering service of their products worldwide. Also offering budget information, potential sales, and timelines.
N&N Supplies
N&N Supplies is a family-run business whose main purpose is moving equipment, as the business was expanding its company by opening more branches across the United States the company and its employees became bigger, and its previous accounting and payroll system couldn't keep up. N&N's business model strategy was to fix these problems and improve the management of its payroll. They chose NetSuite ERP working with Nova Time on implementing time clock-ins. This resulted in an 84% decrease in payroll processing times, quicker account reconciliation, and accuracy in tracking hours and vacation times
Cadbury
Cadbury is one of the biggest chocolate companies in the world through a major expansion the company faced problems in fulfilling orders and distribution needs. With a business model strategy to meet these demands, Cadbury turned to the ERP system of SAP to help fulfill these needs. SAP was brought in to overhaul the supply chain, including a redesign of warehousing and distribution procedures. This was a lengthy process as the SAP system had to be adapted many times during the implementation stage to help Cadbury achieve these goals. SAP transformed Cadbury with improved warehouse management, increased efficiency, and rapid expansion.
